Data Cloud is excellent at unifying Salesforce-shaped data. It's middling at being a general CDP. Plan accordingly.
What we underestimated#
- Identity resolution tuning is its own discipline
- Calculated insights are not free
- The connector to your warehouse will still need babysitting
